Supplier Quality Management SQM – Engineer (m/f)

A company is only as good as its people. And, as we always want to be at the top of our game, you’ll need to be there too if you want to work with us. We are currently looking for the right person to join our Quality Assurance Department.

Your responsibilities

• Supplier Assessment incl. Supplier Audits
• Supplier Releases
• Supplier Quality Releases
• Advanced Quality Planning (APQP) with suppliers
• Material Releases
• Handle complaint management process with suppliers
• Supplier Development and continuous improvement (supplier management)
• Tracking of supplier’s corrective actions
• Statistical evaluation of all supplier quality relevant items
• Reduction of supplier failures in the field, at customer, in manufacturing and incoming inspection
• Support of Advanced Quality Engineering on customer claims
• Support in programs according to PSP
• Special releases for non-confirming supplied goods towards the supplier (in collaboration with Plant Quality)
• Organize Supplier actions on location
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance

Your profile

• Educational Background:
  • Electrical or mechanical engineering degree or similar
• Technical Skills:
  • Quality Auditor regarding VDA 6.3 / IATF 16949
  • Excellent knowledge In Supplier Quality processes and Quality tools (e.g. 8D problem solving, APQP, FMEA´s,etc.)
  • Excellent/Good knowledge of Quality systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of AIAG/VDA standards/guidelines
  • Good knowledge of Statistical process studies and Measurement System Analysis
• Language Skills:
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
