Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f)

A company is only as good as its people. And, as we always want to be at the top of our game, you’ll need to be there too if you want to work with us. We are currently looking for the right person to join our Supplier Quality department.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for supplier assessments (incl. supplier audits) and releases, Advanced Quality Planning (APQP) with suppliers and for material releases
• Handling complaint management process with suppliers (during development phases or in case of customer issues)
• Developing and continuously improving supplier (supplier management)
• Tracking supplier’s corrective actions
• Reducing supplier failures in the field, at customer, in manufacturing and incoming inspection
• Supporting the Advanced Quality Engineering department on customer claims
• Supporting in programs according to PSP
• Being responsible for special releases for non-confirming supplied goods towards the supplier (in collaboration with Plant Quality)
• Organizing supplier actions on location
• Evaluating and monitoring supplier performance

Your profile

• Quality Auditor according VDA 6.3 and/or IATF 16949
• Excellent knowledge in supplier quality processes and quality tools (e.g. 8D problem solving, APQP, FMEA’s, etc.)
• Good knowledge of quality systems
• Knowledge of AIAG/VDA standards/guidelines
• Good understanding of different supplier manufacturing processes (e.g. electronic manufacturing (PCBA,PCB), plastic injection molding, etc.)
• Pro-active attitude, organizational and communication skills, problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) other languages as German and / or French are an asset
