Your responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining ITCS modules in ANSI C with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability
- Working within an IDE (currently NI LabWindows/CVI) for coding, debugging, and profiling
- Managing code using SVN (Subversion), including branching, merging, tagging, and release versioning
- Integrating and supporting automotive electronics using LIN and CAN protocols
- Integrating and supporting laboratory instruments (e.g., power supplies, multimeters, climate chambers, relay boards, IO cards) via RS‑232/serial, GPIB, Ethernet/TCP‑IP, USB, 1-Wire, and related interfaces
- Implementing and maintaining device drivers and communication layers (e.g., NI‑VISA or similar)
Your profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years relevant automotive experience is an asset
- Having run at least one program successfully and autonomously is an asset
- Good understanding of project management
- Functional safety is an asset
- Cybersecurity is in asset
- Familiarity with relevant engineering tools i.e. Matlab; also Simulink, Eagle, Vector
- Good working knowledge of office software
- Fluent in English
