Plant Quality Engineer (m/f)

Your responsibilities

• Providing support for product and process development activities (CR)
• Following-up quality project development and supporting different Customer Quality Teams (AQE)
• Providing support during internal and external audits
• Auditing production processes for compliance to quality standards
• Maintaining and developing plant quality documentation
• Identifying potentials for improvement by using common problem solving methods
• Handling internal and external (customer) complaints
• Releasing machine and tester specifications
• Analyzing scrap statistics
• Performing traceability and tester data analysis
• Performing quality audits according to defined processes
• Evaluating and developing SPC
• Ensuring that processes are followed as defined

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics preferred)
• Good knowledge of automotive quality processes and tools to collect and analyze data, identify root causes, and measure results in problem-solving and process improvement (Ishikawa diagram, Pareto charts, scatter diagrams, control charts, 5Whys?, etc..)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in automotive quality engineering (customer quality preferred)
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience as internal/external quality auditor and experience in different OEM platforms is considered an asset
• Advanced PC knowledge and MS Office skills are mandatory
• Power BI and SAP skills are considered an asset
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken), any other languages are considered assets
