Material Data Engineer (m/f)

A company is only as good as its people. And, as we always want to be at the top of our game, you’ll need to be there too if you want to work with us. We are currently looking for the right person to join our Plant Quality Assurance department.

Your responsibilities

• Administrating and managing Material Data Systems (like IMDS and CAMDS)
• Legal compliances, such as Reach, Rosh and Conflict Minerals
• Supporting compliance assurance of materials (e.g., REACH, ROHS, EU Waste Framework Directive, regulations)
• Gathering information from internal sources, suppliers, and third-party databases (e.g., IHS) to analyze, verify, and certify the compliance of components and products
• Monitoring and responding to customer requests regarding material compliance information and certificates
• Creating and maintaining databases
• Supporting new product development and sustainable engineering processes to ensure product compliance
• Assessing material compliance risks and propose appropriate mitigation measures
• Closely collaborating with third parties to obtain documentation from suppliers
• Regularly maintaining standards and regulations applicable to the company’s products and providing guidance to ensure compliance

Your profile

• Mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering degree
• Good knowledge in Automotive Quality processes and Quality tools
• Experience with Material Data Systems (IMDS, CAMDS) and legal material requirements (REACH, ROHS)
• Minimum of two years relevant automotive experience
• Fluent in English ( written and spoken)
• Good working knowledge of office software
• Good problem solving skills
• Organizational and communication skills
