Your responsibilities

  • Supporting the production with technology knowledge in the daily job by goal setting and regular review
  • Focusing on the continuous improvement in health and safety, quality, productivity, and cost
  • Ensuring trouble free running of assigned equipment and processes
  • Ensuring machine analysis and optimization regarding potential errors
  • Ensuring technical support to reduce machine downtime
  • Continuously looking for opportunities to reduce scrap
  • Managing preventive, predictive, and curative maintenances
  • Managing the set-up team, ensuring availability and cleanliness of tooling
  • Managing spare parts planning to ensure availability
  • Supporting 5S process in all areas
  • Supporting new product introduction
  • Defining training needs and training employees
  • Being compliant with the budget
  • Following up KPIs
  • Managing workload in production, engineering, maintenance, and set-up teams
  • Being responsible for initiating, coordinating & cooperating with other departments in case of any common project

 

Your profile

  • University degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant manufacturing experience in the automotive or similar industry
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing is considered an asset
  • Lean manufacturing / six sigma methodology
  • 5s / ergonomic workplace
  • OEE / TPM
  • VDA 6.3 certified
  • Training required by customers: Formel Q
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written & spoken) is mandatory, any other language is considered an asset
