Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f)

A company is only as good as its people. And, as we always want to be at the top of our game, you’ll need to be there too if you want to work with us. We are currently looking for the right person to join our Quality Assurance Department.

Your responsibilities

• Ensuring quality of materials coming from suppliers (internal or external)
• Creating and following up supplier complaints (in case of deviations/defects)
• Managing KPIs based on Supplier figures/complaints handling
• Preparing/creating/continuously updating tests plans for incoming inspection process in prototype and serial phase
• Managing quarantine areas for supplier issues
• Handling and analyzing 8D reports coming from suppliers
• Performing audits at suppliers, based on the needs
• Maintaining a good relation with SQM central organization and support where needed
• Preparing and returning defect parts to suppliers (by case)
• Organizing (by case) sorting activities of suppliers good together with incoming inspection team
• Being involved if needed in change request

Your profile

• Academic degree in engineering
• Minimum 2 years experience in similar position
• Self-disciplined with ability to work independently
• Experience as internal/external quality auditor (based on IATF 16949/VDA 6.3) is considered a plus
• Good knowledge of automotive quality processes and tools (8D, PPAP , etc)
• Knowledge of electronics manufacturing (EMS) is an asset
• Able to take decisions in critical situations
• Advanced computing knowledge
• Advanced MS Office skills
• SAP skills are considered an asset
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
