Embedded Software Development Engineer (m/f)

Your responsibilities would include:

• Development of real time software for electronics systems according to agreed timeline, respecting required quality and performance levels
• Support component level software requirements analysis
• Elaborate appropriate software architectures
• Design software on component level
• Code and test of software components
• Participate in review of use cases, software requirements and software architecture
• Organize and participate in reviews of software design, code and tests
• Handle configuration management, problem resolution for allocated components, quality audits
• Support software process improvements
• Support software project coordinators and team leader to plan and execute software projects

You would need to meet the following requirements:

• Academic degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• ​Working experience in C as an embedded programming language
• Working experience with:
  • Object Oriented Analysis and Design with UML
  • Embedded software architecture
  • Micro-controller hardware and peripherals
  • Requirement managing tools
• Knowledge of:
  • automotive processes and quality standards (SPICE, ASIL, HIS, MISRA)
  • ​functional safety standards like ISO 26262 or similar
  • ​cyber security standards like ISO/SAE 21434 or similar
  • IBM Rhapsody tool chain or similar
• Excellent communication, analytical and team working skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); German or French is considered an asset
