Your responsibilities

  • Demonstrating an autonomous and proactive attitude in leading technical cable improvements, initiatives, analyses, and cost-saving activities — responsible for setting targets and achieving milestones
  • Contributing internally with global product engineering teams to define cable designs, manufacturing specifications, and creating both project-specific and generic drawings
  • Managing external technical activities with supplier teams, including the identification and validation of new suppliers
  • Supporting customer-oriented project teams in cable-related topics
  • Maintaining a comprehensive technical overview of cable topics across all products
  • Leading system development tasks, including design input, integration, and formal testing of customer programs from the start-up phase to final release
  • Ensuring that the component design of Occupant Detection System products meets all performance, quality, and manufacturing requirements
  • Creating and negotiating specifications, product briefs, and technical documentation
  • Developing and managing specific program engineering tools such as DFMEA, Test Validation Plans, and Technical Risk Assessments
  • Performing, evaluating, and reporting on component-level testing
  • Conducting detailed assessments of OEM specifications and international standards

 

Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive or cable engineering preferred
  • Strong asset: experience and knowledge in cable engineering and production
  • Ability to read and interpret norms, specifications, technical drawings, and process-related technical data
  • Capable of working autonomously with a proactive attitude and effective communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
