General Ledger Accountant

A company is only as good as its people. And, as we always want to be at the top of our game, you’ll need to be there too if you want to work with us. We are currently looking for the right person to join our Accounting Department.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Providing accounting support for global IEE subsidiaries
• Responsible for all G/L accounts (e.g. provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses)
• Arranging bank and treasury related accounting and treasury report
• Assisting the payment process
• Performing intercompany invoicing, reconciliation and clearing
• Assisting statistical reports
• Supporting during the month-/year-end closing process
• Managing supplier claim issue, including documentation and booking
• Filing VAT declaration and VAT refund in different countries
• Supporting annual audit process and financial reporting
• Being a backup for other team member

You would need to meet the following requirements:

• Academic degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of LUX GAAP (IFRS is an asset)
• Knowledge of different tax and reporting rules (VAT, Statec, etc.)
• Good knowledge of SAP/R3 (FI and other modules) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Ability to work autonomously in an international environment
• Cooperative, having team spirit
• Pressure resistant and pro-active
• Precise, attentive to details
• Fluency in English is required; German / French are considered an asset
