Engineering Manager (m/f)

Your responsibilities
- Leading the Engineering team
- Identifying and organizing training
- Developing future managers/leaders
- Preparing and managing the team budget
- Scaling the engineering team without compromising customer satisfaction
- Defining the necessary capacities and skills to support product portfolio(s) – short and mid-term
- Planning and prioritizing programs, allocating resources
- Acting as 1st escalation level (Internal/External)
- Collaborating with Business Line Management (Head of Engineering, Product Management, Program Management) and other department leaders (Manufacturing, Testing laboratories…)
- Being a member of the Europe Project Steering Committee
- Generating monthly report assessing current cost and process improvement projects
Your profile
- University education (Bachelor’s, Master’s degree or Doctorate) in mechanical or electronic engineering
- Role model for his team in terms of leadership, drive, ambition and assertiveness for the overall success of the Business Line (>5 years in Leader position)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical, conceptual skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- English (B2) or German (B1)
