Quality R&D Engineer (m/f)

Your responsibilities would include:
- Leading all HW/SW Quality related activities during development which includes:
- Following the HW/SW Quality plans by checking work products and process compliance
- Analyzing customer HW/SW quality requirements and support the allocation
- Attending product reviews and customer meetings
- Guiding and supporting the HW/SW teams
- Exchanging project status with AQE Engineers
- Supporting test planning
- Supporting FMEA activities
- Being the interface for quality activities between HW/SW development, Functional Safety and Advanced Quality Engineering
- Performing functional safety assessments, confirmation reviews and ASPICE audits
- Supporting any HW or SW related activity in the later phases of a product lifecycle e.g., change requests after SOP, analysis for 8D reports
You would need to meet the following requirements:
- Academic degree in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Strong knowledge/experience of:
- Development in the automotive industry
- HW development (Architecture, Schematics, Layout) and/or SW development (Architecture, Design)
- Quality norm IATF 16949, Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety standard (ISO 26262)
- A good knowledge of:
- Automotive Quality processes and tools (FMEA, FMEDA, 8D etc.)
- ASPICE/Functional Safety assessment and audits
- Project management, Risk management, Requirements management, Configuration management, Change management
- The following are considered an asset:
- Experience in hardware or software testing (EMC, unit tests, integration tests, validation tests, etc.)
- Understanding of Automotive Cybersecurity Standards (ISO 21434, ASPICE for Cybersecurity)
- Understanding of SW tools (MS Office, JIRA, SVN etc.)
- Experience with statistics tools and requirement management tools (e.g. DOORS)
- Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Creativity, team spirit and a pro-active attitude
- Fluency in English is required; all other languages are considered an asset
