Tool Designer (m/f)

Your responsibilities would include:

• Organizing prototype builds by:
  • Co-developing production tools in cooperation with our Industrial Engineering team
  • Creating 2D and/or 3D drawings of production tools according to design specifications
  • Handling the work preparation for different sample phases from dummy sample to PPAP parts
  • Acting as an interface between departments during the tool manufacturing and the prototype production
  • Ensuring the availability of machine programs and tool designs
• Continuous improvement of the prototype and tooling processes
• Supporting the remote locations (development center and manufacturing sites)

You would need to meet the following requirements:

• Professional training as a technical draughtsman
• Preferably additional qualification as technician or mechanical engineer
• Very good understanding of manufacturing processes
• Excellent CAD software skills (2D and 3D) ideally with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
• Quality awareness and goal-oriented way of working
• Fluency in English and German is required
