Your responsibilities

  • Identifying and evaluating the best coding techniques or function/method implementation
  • Generating algorithm interface specifications
  • Setting-up and maintaining the algorithm/pre-processing architecture and specification
  • Model the algorithm/pre-processing behavior and simulate the design
  • Identifying automated algorithm implementation validation concepts
  • Analyzing and managing algorithm and pre-processing requirements from internal and external sources
  • Elaborating algorithm test scenarios and performing design verification (also considering the embedding step)
  • Tracking of processor technology state-of-the-art
  • Documentation and promotion of the best practice in the team


Your profile

  • Engineering degree in electronics, computer science, mathematics or equivalent
  • Profound knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art radar technology and signal processing
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the following subjects:
    • Topologies and operational modes of radar systems
    • Radar signal processing in multi-channel, multi-target applications
    • Numerical computer simulation tools
    • Embedded software development and integration of signal processing algorithms in heterogeneous multi-processor environments
    • Development of algorithm and pre-processing architectural design and linked specification
  • Basic knowhow in FMEA, Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive SPICE in an advantage
  • A good knowledge of C / C++ programming, and Matlab/Simulink
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, German and/or French are strong assets
