Your responsibilities
- Developing theoretical approaches to describe sensor functionalities and environmental interactions
- Developing and validating software applications to improve the efficiency of product and process development
- Carrying out sensor signal processing and algorithm development including machine learning algorithms
- Handling multi-physics simulation topics
- Cooperating with all departments requiring scientific support worldwide
- Preparing status reports and customer reports
- Supporting in the scientific cooperation with universities and institutes as well as customers and suppliers
- Possibility to supervise MSc / PhD students
- Contributing to the Intellectual Property process and patent writing
Your profile
- Academic degree in Physics or Mathematics
- Expertise in mathematical modelling and fundamental aspects of Physics
- Familiar with Data Analysis Methods
- Basic knowledge in machine learning and signal processing
- Good programming skills (MATLAB, Simulink)
- Basic programming skills in Python / C / C++
- Good knowledge of simulation software (e.g. Ansys, LS-Dyna, Comsol, CST)
- Ability to quickly assimilate new theoretical and experimental topics
- Goal-oriented, interdisciplinary approach
- Creativity, team spirit and a pro-active attitude
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly
- Fluency in English (written & spoken) is required, German and/or French is considered an asset
