Let’s Talk Your responsibilities
- Generating PCB designs ready for mass production
- Performing size and feasibility studies for PCBs
- Defining the mechanical properties of the PCBAs with the housing developers
- Drawing Schematics
- Generating the PCB documentation and production data (Gerber, 3D data, Placement plan, etc.)
- Maintaining the component and 3D libraries of the ECAD design tool
- Designing test boards and needle adapters for internal purposes
- Designing circuits
- Simulating circuits
- Testing hardware
Your profile
- Academic degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Extensive experience with a professional ECAD tool for Schematics and Layouts, e.g. Altium
- Having a sound understanding of the PCBA assembly and solder processes and the impact on the PCB layout
- Having experience with (simple) 3D mechanical designs, e.g. for generating or modifying the 3D component libraries
- Good knowledge of the following topics is considered a strong asset:
- electronics circuit design
- testing hardware
- Python
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English is mandatory, German and/or French are strong assets
